My first layout using this collection began with some mixed media on my background. As always I used white textured cardstock and experimented with some lindy's magical powder. I sprinkled the powder and activated with some water and a paintbrush. I then cut and distressed the edges of the woodgrain paper and layered down the side using fun foam on some of the pieces to create dimension.
Next I backed the photo again distressed the edges and layered with more fun foam. To finish I embellished with the ephemera pieces from the collectables.
For layout #2 I followed a sketch and kept it pretty minimal. A splash more of lindys magical powder, some fun foam and distressed edges...and done.
Layout #3 I used a cutfile to begin with, again background was made using lindys magical powder and some simple embellishments.
For my fourth layout I used lots of layers with distressed edges. By this point I had already used most of the ephemera and so cut and layered my own flowers. I particularly like how well the colours match the collection with this photo.
Thank you for stopping by today I really hope you get the chance to play with the lily and moss collection from Kaisercraft.
Happy crafting xxx
