Bombay sunset

Hi all, thanks for stopping by.

I have been playing with the Bombay sunset collection from Kaisercraft today. I have create 2 12x12 scrapbook layouts. I have to say I love the colours but only had a limited supply.
As you can see I went heavy on the pink tones to match the colour of her face in the photo. What can I say, she wanted to be a zombie.

I began with a simple stripe 4x12 inches of the back side of the sundown page and layered a thin border of the daybreak paper on either side and distressed the edges.

I also layered papers from the 6x6 paper pad behind my photo and distressed those edges as well.
I added a border strip to the bottom of the page and a cluster of embellishments from the collectables pack. I used foam tape for added dimension.
I then worked on my cluster around the photo. Building layers and dimension again with foam tape.
I added a cluster to the left and above the photo.
I finished with the title. Alphas from my stash (code for I've had for so long I don't know where I got them from)
and some liquid pearls around the page.

The second layout came together quickly after I chose the butterfly cut files from cut to you. I backed the cutfile with the scraps from the 6x6 papers I had used in the first layout and used the 12x12 leftovers to build the base.
Again I layered the photo and distress the edges. Before working on the embellishment clusters.
To finish I used liquid pearls around the page. As I stated earlier I was working with a limited supply. I had only the 2 12x12 papers, the 6x6 paper pad and the collectables ephemera pack.

Thanks for stopping by I hope you found some inspiration.

Happy crafting xx
